David Eckmann

At Morris Eckmann was a DJ for KUMM. After graduating with a Scholar of the College award, Eckmann attended the University of Minnesota Medical School. He specialized in neuroradiology, which he practiced in the Twin Cities for more than 25 years. He has been very active with the Minnesota Radiological Society. Eckmann received a UMM Distinguished Alumni Award in 2011 and has been a supporter of Chemistry Undergraduate Research Fund (CURF). Currently retired, his interests are diverse, ranging from environmental issues and philanthropy to music and literature. He actively pursues photography, especially the landscape and nature genres. He also enjoys travel, biking, and cross-country skiing.
